best laid plans
Well, I had plans for a 40k speed ride this morning...Left the house at about 6:15, heard a little thunder in the distance, nothing horribly bad. About 70F and very humid. Got about a mile from home and the skies got dark and opened up - visibility nonexistent and huge gusts of wind. If it hadn't been for the wind, I probably would've ridden through the rain and vice versa. Revised plan is to try again for tomorrow morning.

I had a similar adventure yesterday.
Left work around noon for the 5 block bike ride from work to the bus stop. Suddenly skies got dark and I was beset by a sudden drizzle. I thought I was done for. But by the time I made it to the bus stop the clouds had parted and the sun beat down upon my miserable bald head once again.
