Last item from Wisconsin
On our way out of La Crosse, we stopped at Mr. D's for a small donut/snack for the drive back to Champaign.
As you can see, we ended up with a single apple fritter BIGGER THAN KATHLEEN'S HEAD! That's the normal size for their fritters! It's my understanding that Scotland has the second highest rate of heart disease in the world - I'm currently assuming that Wisconsin has the highest.

I think it's true what they say: Never eat anything bigger than your head. OTOH, if I hadn't once been an apple fritter junky, I might never have met my wife.
It seems that I don't have a point after all.
